Dr. Ankur Gill, Medical Director of Akaal Pet Hospital, has always dreamed of being a veterinarian. He earned his Associate Degree in Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) in Punjab, India, in 2015. For the past seven years, Dr. Gill has worked in Fremont, providing veterinary care and relief services across the Bay Area. His interests include internal medicine, preventive medicine, and surgeries. He enjoys discovering treatments for his patients, witnessing their improved health, and building lasting client relationships. A native Californian, Dr. Gill loves nature walks with his wife, family time, traveling, and trying new restaurants. They have three dogs (Shiloh, Tobi, Biggie) and two cats (Jack, Kira). His tip for pet owners would be to establish routine wellness exams to help pets acclimate to the hospital and allow for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
